2026 Volvo XC40
The smallest SUV Volvo builds, and the one best suited to Allston, Brighton and Cambridge: short enough for street parking, tall enough to shrug off February, with up to 57.5 cubic feet of cargo room behind a clever underfloor bin. Three trims for 2026, two mild-hybrid powertrains, and a Black Edition styling variant new this year. The B4 keeps the entry price under $40,000; the 247-hp B5 adds all-wheel drive that most local buyers decide is the option worth paying for.
2026 Volvo XC60
The best-selling Volvo of all time, sized for the school run and the Pike commute in equal measure. The 2026 refresh finally brings the quick, modern infotainment the previous car was missing. Four trims plus a 455-horsepower T8 plug-in hybrid, topping out in the track-tuned Polestar Engineered with its Ohlins dampers and gold Brembo brakes. It is the midsize pick for buyers who want real luxury equipment from the base trim upward rather than as an options-sheet climb.
2026 Volvo EX90
The fully electric three-row flagship, in Plus and Ultra trims, configurable for six or seven seats. A new-for-2026 Single Motor sends 329 horsepower to the rear wheels, Twin Motor adds all-wheel drive and up to 442, and Twin Motor Performance reaches 670. Volvo rates range up to 305 miles, and the 800-volt system supports a 10-80% DC fast charge in as little as 22 minutes. No oil changes, and Massachusetts inspection skips the emissions test on an EV.

2027 Volvo EX60
The EX60 is Volvo's newest electric SUV and an entirely new model for 2027 — the fully electric counterpart to the XC60, not a version of it. Two trims are available, Plus from $58,400 MSRP and Ultra from $65,000, and each can be built with either the single-motor P6 (369 hp, rear-wheel drive) or the dual-motor P10 AWD (503 hp, all-wheel drive), for four configurations total.
2026 Volvo XC90
Volvo's flagship three-row SUV returns for 2026 in three trims: Core from $61,050 MSRP, Plus from $65,050, and Ultra from $69,650, plus a $1,395 destination charge. Every 2026 XC90 ships with all-wheel drive standard, a choice between the 247-horsepower B5 mild-hybrid four-cylinder (Core and Plus) or the 295-horsepower B6 (optional on Plus, standard on Ultra), and seating for six or seven across three rows.
